Manager and investor with over 25 years of international experience in the financial sector, Lorenzo Vangelisti has been Partner and CEO of Valeur Group since 2010.
Lorenzo was born in 1977 in Mendrisio, Switzerland. As soon as he completed his studies at the Bellinzona Cantonal School of Commerce, he joined Credit Suisse: in these years he worked within the Private Banking division in the role of Assistant Relationship Manager. In parallel to achieving his first professional goals, Lorenzo Vangelisti specialized further: in 2001 he obtained the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate, issued by the Centro di Studi Bancari (Vezia), and in 2004 the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Certificate.
At Credit Suisse he was entrusted with roles of increasing responsibility: after working as Specialist in Structured Products and Derivatives on behalf of the division, he became Vice President in the Private Banking Network. In 2007 he moved to London, where he was appointed Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives division, with coverage of institutional clients in Italy, Switzerland and Monaco.
2010 marks the foundation of Valeur Group: Lorenzo Vangelisti established the independent Group specialized in asset management, advisory, trading, research and real estate. In the following years, as Partner and CEO, he coordinated its growth. Today Valeur Group is able to provide all-round services of excellence.
Lorenzo Vangelisti is also strongly committed to social causes and promotes numerous projects through Valeur Foundation, a non-profit organization created with the aim of supporting humanitarian initiatives, cultural projects, sport associations and animals’ welfare.
